You can make a difference! Help us track these falcons by reporting your sightings. Include an image whenever possible. Need help with an injured bird? Reach out and help it get to a wildlife rehabilitator if needed.
Just a few reminders:
Handle the bird only when absolutely necessary. Do not attempt to force feed it.
Wear heavy gloves and wrap the injured bird in a towel. Transport bird in a cardboard box with plenty of ventilation holes.
In Chicago, if you have an injured Peregrine, please call one of the emergency numbers listed below. Remember, the Chicago Peregrine Program only works with Peregrine Falcons. Please direct calls for all other species of downed birds to either Animal Control, CBCM, or Flint Creek.
